15-year-old boy arrested for armed jewel heist in Vancouver: "Police in Vancouver are still looking for at least three suspects after a brazen robbery at a jewellery store Thursday.
Officials say the robbery happened at Montecristo Jewellers at Oakridge Mall at 8:30 p.m., when one man entered the store posing as a customer.
Meanwhile, police say, two other men outside assaulted the security guard and started spraying pepper spray. The man inside then pulled out a gun and demanded that staff open all the jewel boxes.
Police say a number of shots were fired.
All three men fled with the jewels to an awaiting getaway car, described as a stolen 1993 red Plymouth Grand Voyager with the B.C. licence plate 438-JXE, driven by a fourth accomplice. Three suspects got away but one, a 15-year-old male, was arrested outside the mall."
